Tasting Notes from the Wine Rep: This delicious, organically-farmed, naturally-fermented sparkling rosé from Fronton is made with Negrette; it gets its bubbles from the méthode ancestrale (aka "pét-nat" = pétillant naturel) : a technique where the wine is bottled with some sugar remaining to finish fermenting while sealed, resulting in a light-sparkling wine with refreshing acidity and a touch of balanced sweetness. The Roc'Ambulle shows notes of juicy redcurrant, strawberry rhubarb pie, slightly-under ripe watermelon, and pomegranate - perfect on the patio, as an aperitif, or anytime really!
