Jen's Notes:  100% estate selected Sangiovese, Poggio all Oro has an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections that show after long aging. Its bouquet is intense, enveloping, fruity and spicy with tobacco and chocolate notes which make it a superb accompaniment to red meats, game and aged cheeses. Aged for a total of five years, including a minimum of two years in French oak barriques, this wine emerges with exceptional depth, character and long aging potential. In the mouth, this wine is full, austere, velvety and appropriately tannic.
