It opens with black raspberry, dark cherry and blueberry, layered with violet, cocoa, liquorice, graphite and a subtle minty freshness. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with ripe but controlled fruit, supple tannins and a chalky mineral thread that gives the wine shape and lift. There’s plenty of richness from the warm 2022 vintage, but it stays fresh, balanced and very Bordeaux, finishing long with dark fruit, chocolate and a savoury limestone edge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eMade from \u003cspan class=\"s1\"\u003e75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon\u003c\/span\u003e, the wine comes from clay-limestone soils in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux and was aged with a significant proportion of new oak.
