Producer's Notes: "Risca" is a stony soil the colour of bleached bones which is the main terroir of the region of Jumilla, in south-east Spain. It reflects the bright sunlight and protects the subsoil as the thirsty rots of the Monastrell push deep to find moisture, which they distil [sic] into ripe plump grapes from which we make this wine, an expression of its soil.
