Each harvest we perform an important step in the process of making Dirty Rosé - introducing grape skins to cider!
A blend of Cider and Perry are macerated on freshly pressed skins and stems (pomace). We have sourced the pomace from the same winery every season immediately after the grapes are pressed. This years release, we introduced NY Muscat, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, and Marechal Foch (2020 harvest) with our base blend.
Aged for 5 months on pomace, the finished product puckers your cheeks like red wine but has a lighter appearance and weight.
We added in-house, fresh pressed organic apple cider at time of packaging for natural carbonation and stability!
