Bright, fragrant and wonderfully useful, Allegrini’s Valpolicella Classico is a classic everyday red from one of the region’s benchmark producers. It opens with vivid cherry, red berries and a touch of plum, lifted by violet, fresh herbs and a subtle peppery edge. The palate is medium-bodied, juicy and clean, with lively acidity, soft tannins and a fresh, savoury finish that keeps the wine light on its feet. It has enough fruit to be immediately charming, but enough herbal and mineral detail to feel unmistakably Valpolicella rather than simply “easy red.”

Made from the traditional Valpolicella varieties of Corvina and Rondinella, the grapes come from south-east-facing vineyards in the Valpolicella Classico hills, where chalky, volcanic-origin soils help preserve freshness and aromatic lift. The fruit is destemmed and softly pressed, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel before ageing in tank rather than oak, keeping the focus firmly on purity, cherry fruit and drinkability.
