A classic take on Tempranillo from the Rioja region, Altivo offers balanced structure and classic Spanish character at an attractive price point. The wine opens with aromas of red cherry, plum and dried strawberries, joined by soft spice, cedar and subtle leather notes indicative of oak ageing. On the palate it’s medium-bodied with supple tannins, smooth texture and a lively acidity that keeps the fruit bright. The finish is clean, slightly savoury, and expresses subtle oak-derived depth without overpowering the varietal character.
