Benjamin Bridge ‘Wild Rock’ White Blend - Gaspereau, Nova Scotia, Canada

Producer's Notes:

In the glass, a shiny straw color with a golden wheat hue. On the nose, a combination of citrus oils, bittersweet floral perfume, lime and tangerine are interlaced with saline coastal undertones. The palate is naturally plush yet dry, with an inherent softness and roundness coming from within. Suggestions of orange creamsicle, pear tart and freshly cut grass and botanicals make way for a vibrant, echoing finale.

What we say:

Bright, coastal and effortlessly drinkable, this aromatic white blend opens with lifted citrus, including lime, tangerine and grapefruit - alongside green apple, pear and a hint of floral perfume. There’s a distinctive Atlantic influence here, with a subtle saline freshness and a lightly herbal, botanical edge that adds intrigue. The palate is crisp and lively, balancing zesty acidity with a gentle softness, showing flavours of citrus oils, pear tart and a touch of orange creamsicle, finishing clean, refreshing and quietly moreish.

Built as a Sauvignon Blanc-inspired blend, the exact composition can vary by vintage but typically includes a mix of local and classic varieties (such as Ortega, L’Acadie Blanc, Riesling and others), fermented in stainless steel to preserve purity and freshness, usually with a small "solera" component for added consistency and texture.

Grape Variety: Multi-varietal blend (Sauvignon Blanc-led with regional varieties)

A quintessential Nova Scotia white - zippy, coastal and dangerously easy to drink, with just enough character to keep things interesting.
