Bérêche & Fils Brut Réserve – Champagne, France
Producer's Notes:
A full-bodied, polished, and complex wine with autolysis aromas (biscuit).
A consistent wine texture and creamy bubbles. The chalkiness is present on the finish, delicately saline, with a long and savoury palate. Aged on lees for 24-36 months.
What we say:
From the independent house of Bérêche & Fils in Ludes (Montagne de Reims) comes the Brut Réserve - an accessible yet highly refined multi-vintage Champagne that blends minerality, freshness and superb winemaking pedigree. Crafted from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, with a sizeable portion of reserve wines, this cuvée showcases the estate’s terroir and style in a non-vintage format.
On the nose you’ll find bright citrus peel, green apple, white peach, and orchard blossom, layered with subtle brioche, chalky stone and a hint of wild herb. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with fine mousse, crisp acidity, and flavours of orchard and citrus fruit, wet stone and a gently savoury finish. The minerality remains front and centre, reflecting the chalky soils of the Montagne de Reims and contributing to its versatility at the table.
Grape varieties: Blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Pinot Meunier (approx. 40% / 30% / 30%, varying by release)
Style: Elegant, terroir-driven non-vintage Champagne
Drink window: Now–2026
Perfect for: Oysters, sashimi, light shellfish, gourmet aperitifs, or anytime you want great bubbles with substance
Fresh, refined and quietly confident - Bérêche’s Brut Réserve brings terroir, finesse and honesty into one bottle.
