Viña Real Crianza is a classic Rioja Alavesa wine. Gastronomic, enjoyable and fresh with a long finish. Wines with excellent aging potential, body, structure and aromatic intensity, predominantly fruity. There is subtle presence of barrel-aged notes in this wine.

What we say:

From the historic cellars of Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), this Viña Real Crianza offers a refined Rioja that blends tradition with freshness. Aged about 13-14 months in French and American oak, then bottle-matured for a further period, the wine offers elegant Tempranillo-led richness with bright regional lift.

Expect aromas of black cherry, plum, cedar and gentle spice. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a polished finish of fruit and savoury oak.

Grape varieties: 90% Tempranillo, 10% Graciano and Mazuelo

Style: Classic, approachable shorter-aged Rioja with modern finesse.
