The elegance of Camelot is born from the long research, lasting more than 20 years, that Firriato has dedicated to guarantee the best soil and climate conditions for growing Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards of Baglio Sorìa, located at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level, due to their proximity to the Trapani coast and the peculiarities of the terroir, contribute to defining the ideal conditions for growing the two vines. The red marl of the soil, during the warmer months, allows the land to remain compact and not create cracks, maintaining constant humidity in the subsoil, favouring the balance between sugar and phenolic maturation, more difficult in hot climates. The aging for 12 months in French oak barriques characterises it for unparalleled aromatic and gustatory elegance.

A bold and polished Sicilian red from Firriato, Camelot is a powerful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that combines international grape varieties with the warmth and intensity of Sicily’s sun-drenched vineyards. The wine opens with rich aromas of blackcurrant, plum and blackberry, layered with notes of cocoa, sweet spice, tobacco and vanillafrom oak ageing.

Careful vineyard selection and low yields are followed by fermentation and extended ageing in French oak barrels, adding structure, spice and complexity while integrating the wine’s generous fruit.

On the palate it is full-bodied and velvety, delivering ripe dark fruit, supple tannins and balanced acidity, with a long, warming finish that shows both richness and refinement. Despite its power, there is a polished elegance here that keeps the wine composed and food-friendly.
