Producer's Notes:
This wine comes from a vineyard located in and around the commune of Cairanne (in the Vaucluse department, on the left bank of the Rhône), facing the Dentelles de Montmirail and Mont Ventoux. The vines are planted on stony, clay-limestone slopes with gentle slopes and excellent sun exposure. The wine is a deep ruby color with a violet rim, indicating its youth. The nose is dominated by fresh red fruits (strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant), developing more jammy notes with aeration. The tannins are young but supple, and the wine has a significant volume on the palate. Cherry and spice notes predominate. A lovely finish.
