Celler de Capçanes ‘Peraj Petita’ Rosat - Montsant (Catalonia), Spain
Producer's Notes:
Medium intensity pink colour. Fragrant aromas of peach blossom and berries. In the mouth it surprises with a fairly broad body and a vibrant acidity, which keeps it very fresh. Strawberries and cherries with floral touches in the background. Elegant and mineral finish. This delicate rosé pairs perfectly with creamy risottos, seafood, cheese boards and oysters. We also recommend opening it with mussels and tempura.
*Not Mevushal
What we say:
Bright, textural and more serious than your average rosé, ‘Peraj Petita’ Rosat opens with fragrant notes of white peach, wild strawberry and cherry, layered with delicate florals and a subtle mineral edge. The palate is dry and vibrant, balancing juicy red fruit with fresh acidity and a gentle phenolic grip from the saignée method, giving the wine both energy and structure. There’s a lovely Mediterranean warmth beneath the freshness, finishing savoury, mineral and quietly persistent.
Made entirely from organically farmed Garnacha grown on clay and granite terrace soils, the wine is hand-harvested from vines around 25–50 years old. Vinification takes place under strict rabbinical supervision using the saignée method, with cool fermentation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic lift. The result is a rosé with far more depth and gastronomic character than the category often suggests.
Certified kosher under the supervision of the Jewish Community of Barcelona, ‘Peraj Petita’ Rosat carries both Lo Mevushal and Kosher for Passover (Le Pessaj) certification. Like the rest of the Peraj range, it’s part of Capçanes’ pioneering kosher wine programme that helped redefine the quality and reputation of kosher wines from Spain.
