A beautifully poised Premier Cru from the historic Domaine Chapuis, this 2020 Aloxe-Corton shows both power and refined structure typical of the limestone-rich slopes of the Côte de Beaune. Bright aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry and raspberry are layered with rose petal, forest floor and gentle spice, while the palate delivers medium-to-full weight fruit framed by lively acidity and fine, chalky tannins. Oak ageing adds depth without overwhelming the fruit, and the finish is long, balanced and expressive - a quintessential example of Burgundian Pinot with excellent cellaring potential.
