Elegant, classically proportioned and unmistakably Pauillac, Château Duhart-Milon 2023 is a beautifully composed Fourth Growth that showcases the finesse and purity for which the estate has become renowned. Aromas of cassis, black cherry and ripe blackberry are layered with notes of cedar, graphite, cigar box, mint and subtle baking spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied, combining vibrant black fruit with finely grained tannins and fresh acidity, creating a wine of impressive precision and balance. Long and persistent, the finish reveals layers of pencil lead, dark chocolate and crushed stone that promise outstanding development in bottle. 

Owned by the Rothschild family of Château Lafite Rothschild, Duhart-Milon has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past two decades, with extensive vineyard replanting and investment elevating it into one of Pauillac's most consistent performers. The 2023 vintage is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot, with each parcel vinified separately before ageing in 50% new French oak barrels. The estate's deep gravel soils, coupled with meticulous vineyard management and a Cabernet-led blend, produce a wine that captures the hallmark elegance, graphite minerality and longevity of great Pauillac.
