Château Les Hauts de Caillevel ‘Fleur de Roche’ Sauvignon Blanc - Bergerac, Southwest France
Producer's Notes:
Bright and expressive, this dry white opens with aromas of grapefruit, lemon zest and passion fruit, joined by white flowers and ripe yellow fruits. The palate is lively and mineral-driven, with crisp acidity balanced by a gently rounded texture and a persistent finish carrying subtle citrus and saline notes.
Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris are grown on the rocky limestone plateau of Pomport, a site that gives the cuvée its name and contributes freshness and mineral definition. Fermentation and maturation take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel, with time on fine lees adding texture and complexity while preserving the wine’s aromatic clarity.
