A sophisticated and generously textured second wine from the iconic Clos Apalta estate, Le Petit Clos 2020 brings approachable intensity with classic Chilean Bordeaux-blend character. Bright red-garnet in colour, the wine shows ripe black fruit and red cherry aromas with hints of herbs, spice, cedar and subtle floral lift. On the palate it’s medium-to-full-bodied with juicy dark fruit framed by smooth, plush tannins and lively acidity, leading to a long, elegant finish that marries fruit generosity with structure. This second wine expresses a balanced interpretation of Apalta’s granite-rich terroir, with round, persistent texture and refinement that makes it both approachable now and rewarding with gentle cellaring.
