Here is, instead, the youth of Nebbiolo, unexpected, brilliant and memorable: it does not have the weight of the great wines, but it brings as a gift its precious, intimate clarity. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks followed by aging in large French oak barrels.

From the respected estate of Burlotto in Verduno, this Langhe Nebbiolo offers a finely tuned expression of the Nebbiolo grape - accessible yet full of regional character. Sourced from hillside vineyards just outside Barolo country, it brings the finesse of Piedmont’s iconic variety in a slightly more approachable format.

On the nose you’ll find wild cherry, red plum, rose petal, and hints of tar and forest floor - signature Nebbiolo aromas. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied with bright acidity, smooth (but present) tannins, layers of red fruit and spice, and a persistent finish with mineral nuances from limestone-rich soils. While ready to enjoy now, it also rewards a few years of bottle age for added depth.
