Elegant, fragrant and beautifully fresh, Alliance Pinot Noir captures the lighter, more refined side of Sancerre. Aromas of red cherry, Morello cherry and wild raspberry mingle with subtle notes of violet, dried herbs and gentle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and finely balanced, with lively red fruit, refreshing acidity and smooth, silky tannins. A restrained touch of oak adds texture and complexity without overwhelming the wine’s delicate fruit, leading into a poised, savoury finish.

Produced from 100% Pinot Noir grown on predominantly limestone and clay-limestone marl soils, the fruit comes from vines averaging approximately 35 years of age. Domaine de la Garenne is certified organic and incorporates biodynamic practices, careful soil cultivation and controlled yields throughout the vineyard. Grapes are harvested by hand before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Approximately 80% of the wine is subsequently matured in 500-litre oak barrels, providing gentle structure and subtle oak influence while preserving Pinot Noir’s aromatic purity and freshness.
