Bright, delicate and beautifully refreshing, Alliance Rosé offers a graceful expression of Pinot Noir from the limestone hills of Sancerre. Aromas of wild strawberry, redcurrant and ripe melon are lifted by notes of pink grapefruit and delicate spring flowers. The palate is dry, fresh and fruit-driven, with a gentle roundness through the mid-palate and a lively citrus-edged acidity bringing precision to the clean, subtly tangy finish.
Produced entirely from Pinot Noir grown in a small 0.5-hectare vineyard, the approximately 30-year-old vines are planted on Sancerre’s highly prized limestone “caillottes” soils. Domaine de la Garenne is certified organic and incorporates biodynamic practices, careful soil cultivation and controlled yields throughout its vineyards. The grapes are direct-pressed to achieve the wine’s luminous salmon colour, followed by fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit, aromatic purity and mineral character.
