A beautifully expressive village-level Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most respected names. The 2018 Vieilles Vignes combines ripe red and dark fruit with elegant French earthiness: think wild cherry, raspberry and cranberry woven with forest floor, dried herbs and subtle spice. On the palate the wine is medium-to-full bodied with refined, powdery tannins and bright acidity that give momentum without harshness. This feels both generous and graceful - open enough to enjoy now yet structured for further development in bottle.
