Concentrated aromas of dark cherry, blackberry and redcurrant mingle with notes of spice, forest earth, liquorice and a cool, flinty edge. The palate is structured and focused, showing firm yet polished tannins, impressive purity of fruit and a long, savoury, mineral finish. Powerful but balanced, this is a village-level Gevrey with serious presence and real ageing potential.
