Producer's Notes:

100% Verdicchio, from the top section of Edoardo’s own vineyard in San Paolo di Jesi. This parcel is particularly rich in ancient seashells and white limestone, providing plenty of mineral backbone to balance a rich, supple medley of ripe orchard and tropical fruit. Ferments and rests for one year in cement barrel on its lees, then matures in the bottle for at least one year. Only 2000 bottles produced.

From the historic vineyards of the Dottori estate in Marche, Kochlos Verdicchio Riserva delivers an elegant, refined expression of this native white grape. The nose shows aromas of lemon zest, white peach, almond blossom and a hint of sea-spray minerality. On the palate it’s medium-bodied and nicely textured, with vibrant acidity, crisp orchard- and citrus-fruit flavours and a long, dry mineral finish - elegant and fresh but with a touch of mature complexity. A white that balances tradition and finesse beautifully.
