To the nose we find intense overtones of very ripe fruits; floral memories and a high nuance of noble wood. In the mouth we find an extraordinary unctuosity concentrated rather in its richness of aroma than its tannins. The unique characteristics of its terroir imprint themselves on this extraordinary, subtle and elegant wine.

A deeply expressive old-vine Garnacha from the steep, century-old vineyards of the Montsant DOP - this 2006 bottling shows how time can draw out power, nuance and grace from very old vines. On the nose, expect rich aromas of ripe black cherry and plum, interwoven with floral notes, Mediterranean herbs, soft spice and subtle oak. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and layered: dark berry and plum flavours mingle with earthy mineral undertones, gentle spice and a hint of herbaceousness, while silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, hauntingly elegant finish carry the wine with poise and depth.
