To the nose we find intense overtones of very ripe fruits; floral memories and a high nuance of noble wood. In the mouth we find an extraordinary unctuosity concentrated rather in its richness of aroma than its tannins. Espectacle is a benchmark expression of old-vine Garnacha from Montsant, sourced from extraordinary, dry-farmed vineyards planted over a century ago. These 100-year-old vines yield tiny quantities of intensely concentrated fruit, resulting in a wine of remarkable depth and finesse. On the nose, the wine opens with layers of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and kirsch, unfolding into notes of violets, sweet spice, cocoa and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, it is plush and expansive yet beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, vivid dark fruit, savoury mineral tones and a long, polished finish that speaks to both power and precision.
