Producer's Notes: 

Gamaret is a grape variety of Swiss origin, planted in the mountains in conditions similar to those of Chiroubles. These small grapes, which are not very susceptible to disease, produce beautiful juices during fermentation. We find the fruit, the freshness of Gamay and the structure of Reichensteiner. Nothing like it to accompany a good snack with friends!

This bottling opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, bramble fruit and plum, layered with hints of pepper, violets and gentle earthiness. On the palate it’s smooth and medium-bodied, offering juicy dark fruit, soft tannins and a subtle savoury note that adds depth. Fresh, charming and easy to enjoy, it strikes a lovely balance between Gamay-like lift and Syrah-like spice.
