Finca Sophenia “Inconsciente” Malbec – Tupungato, Uco Valley, Argentina
Producer's Notes:
At first glance it presents violet notes typical of Malbec, on the nose notes of plum, cherry and roses are perceived, then spicy notes appear, in the mouth it enters with fine and soft tannins.
What we say:
A vibrant, mountain-grown Malbec with a fresh, modern edge, Inconsciente shows off the cooler, high-altitude side of the Uco Valley. Finca Sophenia crafts this cuvée with a lighter touch than their fuller-bodied reds, highlighting purity, lift, and aromatic brightness.
The nose is immediate and expressive: violet, fresh blackberry, blueberry, and a hint of crushed herbs. On the palate, Inconsciente is juicy and energetic - medium-bodied with soft, approachable tannins and a lively core of dark fruit. A subtle mineral streak and clean acidity give the wine a refreshing, almost playful finish.
