Giesen begins by crafting a premium, full-strength New Zealand Pinot Grigio using fruit sourced from Marlborough, Waipara and Hawke's Bay. The finished wine then undergoes gentle dealcoholisation using advanced spinning cone technology, which carefully separates and preserves the wine's delicate aromas before removing the alcohol. Those aromas are blended back into the wine, along with a small amount of premium grape juice to maintain balance and texture, resulting in an authentic Pinot Grigio experience with less than 0.5% ABV, just 27 calories per 150ml serving, and certification under Sustainable Winegrowing New Zealand. The wine is also vegan friendly.
