Gouleyant Rosé - Côtes du Lot (South-West France)
Fresh, bright and exactly what the name promises, this Malbec-based rosé is all about easy, joyful drinking. It opens with lively aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and a touch of blackcurrant, with a subtle floral lift and a hint of soft spice. The palate is crisp and refreshing, showing juicy red berry fruit balanced by a gentle roundness and a faint touch of sweetness, giving it immediate approachability. Made from Malbec with very short skin contact - just enough to extract colour without weight - it keeps a light structure and a clean, persistent finish.
Grape Variety: Malbec
Style: Rosé – Dry to off-dry, light-bodied, fresh
Drink Window: Now – 2 years
Perfect For: Charcuterie, salads, grilled chicken, picnic fare
A textbook “gouleyant” wine: easy, fruity and made to be enjoyed without overthinking, preferably in good company, and slightly chilled.
