The Great Heart Project, a staff empowerment project, is collectively owned by the 21 employees of the winery and their families. 

Dry farmed bush vine, matured 18 months in foudre. Plum, dark berry, blue florals, wild herbs, clove and pepper spice.

Made by the employee-owned Great Heart project of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, this red blend delivers outstanding quality and generosity at a remarkable value. Aromas of dark berry, plum and black cherry mingle with notes of violets, warm spice and a touch of earthy savouriness. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, showing juicy fruit, fine tannins and the natural freshness that comes from Swartland’s granite-rich soils. Harmonious, vibrant and wonderfully drinkable, this is a thoughtful, beautifully made Cape red with real heart behind it.
