Producer's Notes: 

The Great Heart Project, a staff empowerment project, is collectively owned by the 21 employees of the winery and their families. 

Delicate aromas of herbs, fynbos, bergamot and blackberry. These follow through on the palate which is beautifully balanced, with fine tannins and a succulent freshness. The finish is long and dry. Aged 11 months in french oak foudres.

Crafted by the employee-owned Great Heart project of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, this Cabernet Franc offers remarkable purity, generosity and value. Aromas of red cherry, plum and crushed raspberry are layered with floral notes, gentle spice and the subtle leafy freshness that defines the variety. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with silky tannins, bright acidity and a long, elegant finish shaped by Stellenbosch’s granitic soils. Honest, expressive and impeccably made, this is Cabernet Franc with both charm and character.
