Hey French White Pasqua
Origin: Verona, Italy
Blend: Garganega, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc
"Hey French, you could have made this but you didn't"
This wine is the most powerful expression of the characteristics of the vineyards of origin, lying in different plots, on the Veronese side of Monte Calvarina, located in the easternmost part of the Soave appellation. Blend of the best 4 vintages of the last decade (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017) selected as the highest expression of the vineyard throughout its history. For each vintage selected, the vinification of the white grapes takes place with the maceration of the skins for about 10 hours. Subsequently, the alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures with selected yeasts is started followed by a partial malolactic fermentation, about 10% of the product, in barrique. The process continues with a second passage in wood for about 6 months. The wine is finally passed in steel for further refinement.
A wine with great aging potential. A stylistic effort aimed at obtaining a unique complexity and structure through the skilful combination of the different characteristics represented by the various vintages. Garganega gives the wine structure, freshness and aromas with floral notes and intense minerality, a profound expression of the composition of the soil of volcanic origin. At the time of tasting, the different vintages are expressed in a long succession of suggestions and notes ranging from freshly blossomed flowers to chamomile, hazelnut, citrus notes, tropical fruit.
