Produced by the same Zanusso family behind I Clivi in Italy, the Vipavska Dolina Chardonnay is a fresh, mineral-driven, unoaked white wine from the "Cerkev" vineyard on the hills of Gocje, Municipality of Vipacco, Slovenia. Ferdinando Zanusso believes the soil is the secret behind their extraordinary white wines, which can be drunk young or aged for twenty years. The soil is primary, and Zanusso claims great wine starts with the land. The layering of acacia flowers is drawn out in the full-bodied palate.
