Kir-Yianni Cuvée Villages Xinomavro - Naoussa, Macedonia, Greece
A classic and expressive Xinomavro from Kir-Yianni, one of Greece’s benchmark producers, sourced from selected vineyard sites across the Naoussa appellation.
Fermented in stainless steel with a period of ageing in oak, helping to soften tannins and add subtle spice while preserving the grape’s bright acidity and aromatic complexity.
The wine opens with lifted aromas of red cherry, sun-dried tomato and wild strawberry, alongside notes of olive, spice and dried herbs that are signature to the variety. On the palate it is medium-bodied with vibrant acidity and firm, structured tannins, delivering savoury red-fruit character and a long, earthy finish. Both traditional and approachable, it captures the distinctive personality of Xinomavro while remaining highly food-friendly.
