Producer's Notes: La Petite Eglise 2017 is powerful and rich in the glass. Dark purplish berries, charcoal, licorice, cloves and lavender are just some of the many shades that infuse this 2017 with its distinctly dark personality. Unctuous and racy, with superb density, this 2017 is quite an extroverted Pomerol. Tasting it in the bottle, I had the same impression as the en primeur: it is undoubtedly better than many of the most prestigious wines.
