A benchmark Cape Bordeaux-style blend from Le Riche, one of Stellenbosch’s most respected Cabernet specialists. Richesse is designed as a more approachable expression of the estate’s philosophy, combining classic structure with immediate drinkability - and it consistently overdelivers for its category.

Fruit is sourced from multiple Stellenbosch sites and vinified separately before blending. The wine is typically aged in French oak for around 12–20 months, building texture and complexity while maintaining freshness and balance.

Fun fact: “Richesse” means wealth in French - a nod to the rich blending heritage of Stellenbosch, where Cabernet Sauvignon has historically been blended with Cinsault and other varieties to create balanced, expressive wines. 

The wine opens with inviting aromas of blackcurrant, plum and red cherry, layered with notes of cedar, tobacco and warm spice. On the palate it is medium-to-full-bodied and beautifully balanced, with juicy dark fruit, silky tannins and fresh acidity that keeps everything lifted and food-friendly. The Cabernet Sauvignon core provides backbone, while components like Cinsault and Cabernet Franc add perfume and approachability.
