Producer's Notes:
Dark and dense in color to the rim of the glass. Layered aromas of black cherry, currant and blueberry are accented by an authentic barrel-aged bouquet of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and roasted coffee. The palate peaks with high-toned red berry fruit, and follows with bright acidity and a full structure that is both dense and soft at once.
What we say:
A bold and crowd-pleasing Cabernet from one of California’s most reliable producers. Rich aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry are layered with cedar, vanilla and a hint of spice from careful oak aging. On the palate this feels plush and generous, with juicy dark fruit, supple tannins and a smooth, lingering finish - approachable in its youth yet structured enough to pair beautifully at the table. A quintessential Cali Cab that delivers excellent value and consistency.
