Magellan “Le Fruit Défendu” Rosé - 750 ml (Vin de France)
From Bruno Lafon’s Domaine Magellan in the Languedoc, Le Fruit Défendu is a refined, Provence-styled rosé that shows just how elegant Southern French pink can be. Made from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and a touch of Syrah, it delivers freshness, finesse, and beautifully delicate fruit—all wrapped in a gorgeously pale hue.
The nose opens with gentle aromas of strawberry, white peach, redcurrant, and a whisper of citrus zest. On the palate, it’s crisp, clean, and light on its feet: refreshing acidity balanced by soft red-berry fruit, subtle floral notes, and a faint herbal edge that adds complexity. The texture is smooth and silky, making it incredibly easy to enjoy both on its own and alongside a wide range of dishes.
This is a polished yet approachable rosé - quietly elegant, beautifully balanced, and perfect for warm-weather sipping or year-round freshness.
