Producer's Notes: 

Tignanello 2021 is ruby red with intense purple hues. The nose is complex: notes of ripe plums, blackberries and candied orange peels lead to pleasant hints of dark chocolate, caramel, and licorice. Sweet hints of tobacco complete the impressive bouquet. The palate is rich, sophisticated, intense and is defined by supple vibrant tannins followed by a long persistent finish

A true icon of Italy, the legendary Tignanello stands as one of the world’s most influential wines - credited with redefining Tuscan winemaking and ushering in the era of the “Super Tuscan.” The 2021 vintage continues this legacy with impressive depth, polish, and precision, showcasing the vibrant energy of the year and the craftsmanship of the Antinori estate.

The nose is beautifully layered: ripe black cherry, plum, and blackberry merge with notes of violet, tobacco leaf, cedar, and subtle spice. On the palate, it’s sleek and powerful yet remarkably refined - medium-to-full bodied with silken tannins, fresh acidity, dark fruit concentration, and a long, savoury finish shaped by graphite and sweet herbs. The influence of French oak is seamless, supporting the wine without overshadowing its Sangiovese core.

A superb young Tignanello that will age effortlessly but already shows outstanding balance and charm.
