Origin: Mosel, Germany
Vineyard: Our vineyards in Kröver Paradies are located at an altitude of approx. 110 m to
approx. 145 m above sea level and consist of extremely stony, steep slopes that
are difficult to cultivate. The exposure is western, but the “Hähl” is still
exposed to strong sunlight. The vineyards we cultivate in paradise are between
35 and 110 years old and have huge potential. The wines are characterized by
great finesse. You can clearly taste the minerality – and therefore the slate – in
them. When it comes to young wines, the pleasantly neutral nature of Paradies
always impresses, a projection surface for the usually strong acidity. In ripe,
dry wines, the creamy acidity is harmoniously interwoven with a powerful
body and delicate cassis notes. Fruit-sweet wines can be stored very well and
retain their freshness and fruitiness for an extremely long time.
Producer's Notes: Kabinetts from our winery contain comparatively little alcohol. Our dry
Kabinetts have around 10 to 11.5% alcohol by volume. The off-dry Kabinetts are 9.0 to 10.5% vol. and the sweet Kabinetts at 7.0 to 9.5%vol. Alcohol. We want to create
cabinets that appear light and impress with elegance and sensitivity. They are often refreshing and tangy, making them the ideal companion in summer. They
go very well with white meat, such as fish or poultry.
