It opens with vivid red raspberry, redcurrant and cherry, woven with floral notes, wild herbs and a subtle stony, volcanic edge. The palate is bright and finely structured, with dynamic acidity and delicate yet persistent tannins giving it both energy and shape. There’s a beautiful sense of tension here that's fresh, precise, and quietly powerful - finishing clean, mineral, and refreshingly pure.
Sourced from old vines on the famed Côte du Py (one of Morgon’s most prized terroirs, known for its blue volcanic rock and ability to produce deeper, more age-worthy wines), this cuvée is made with a low-intervention approach and typically aged in a mix of large, mostly neutral oak to preserve both structure and site expression.
