Moulin de Gassac ‘Guilhem’ White - Pays d’Hérault (Languedoc), France
Fresh, bright and effortlessly Mediterranean, ‘Guilhem’ White is a clean, aromatic southern French blend built for easy enjoyment. It opens with crisp citrus, green apple and white peach, lifted by delicate floral notes and a subtle herbal edge that nods to the garrigue-covered hills around the Gassac valley. The palate is light to medium-bodied and lively, with refreshing acidity, soft orchard fruit and a clean, dry finish that makes it wonderfully versatile at the table.
Made by the Guibert family of Mas de Daumas Gassac, the wine is typically blended from varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache Blanc, Rolle, Clairette and Terret, all vinified in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic purity. The result is a bright, unoaked white that captures the relaxed charm of the Languedoc while retaining the precision and balance associated with the estate.
