A bright, pale citrus color filled with aromas of fresh lemon, grapefruit, green apple, and white peach, layered with citrus blossom, delicate aniseed, and a distinct stony mineral edge, with a fresh, lively yet deeply layered palate leading to a crisp, acidic, clean, persistent, and mouthwatering finish.

Sourced from high-altitude, steep schist terraces that preserve the grape's natural vibrancy, precision, and freshness, this wine features a gentle, rounded, waxy texture that adds weight without heaviness, driven by firm, crisp acidity. The grapes come exclusively from Quinta de la Rosa’s Cerejinha vineyard, where Gouveio forms part of a white-grape parcel alongside Alvarinho and Arinto grapes.
The vineyard benefits from the Douro’s schist soils and diverse elevations, and the conditions that help retain acidity and freshness despite the intense heat that sweeps through the region’s summer seasons. This wine is a good example of Quinta de la Rosa’s approach to making white wine.
