Tenuta San Guido ‘Guidalberto’  - Toscana IGT, Italy

A polished, modern “Super Tuscan” from the famed Sassicaia estate, Guidalberto balances richness with freshness in a beautifully composed style. It opens with layered aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, intertwined with violet, graphite, spice and a subtle touch of tobacco and cedar. There’s a sense of precision here which is fruit-forward but never heavy.

The palate is medium to full-bodied, with a silky, supple texture driven by ripe Merlot fruit, while Cabernet Sauvignon brings structure, lift and a gently savoury edge. Aged for around 15 months in a mix of French and American oak, it integrates spice and polish without overwhelming the fruit, finishing long, refined and quietly powerful with notes of dark fruit, cocoa and earth.
