Powerful yet impeccably refined, Zephyrus is a modern Barossa Shiraz that combines the region's trademark richness with remarkable freshness and precision. Intensely aromatic, it opens with layers of blackberry, dark plum and mulberry, intertwined with violet, black pepper, liquorice, dark chocolate and fragrant dried herbs. The palate is concentrated and beautifully textured, delivering wave after wave of ripe black fruit framed by silky tannins, vibrant acidity and subtle, seamlessly integrated oak. Rich without excess, it finishes long and poised, balancing depth, spice and elegance in equal measure. 

Named after Zephyrus, the Greek god of the west wind, the wine reflects the cooling breezes that sweep across the Barossa and help preserve freshness during the growing season. Fruit is sourced from a collection of mature vineyards across both the Barossa Valley and Eden Valley, with each parcel fermented separately, including varying proportions of whole bunches to build aromatic complexity and structure. The wine is matured for 12 months in a combination of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads, allowing vineyard character to remain firmly at the forefront while adding polish and depth. The result is a Shiraz that captures both the generosity of Barossa and the finesse that has become the hallmark of Sons of Eden.
