Fresh, approachable, and full of bright tropical fruit, Undurraga U Chardonnay is an easy-drinking Chilean white that's perfect for any occasion. Aromas of ripe pear, pineapple and peach are complemented by subtle citrus notes and a delicate hint of vanilla. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with refreshing acidity balancing juicy orchard and tropical fruit, while a gentle touch of sweetness rounds out the finish without overwhelming the wine's freshness. Produced from 100% Chardonnay grown in Chile's Central Valley, the grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks. The wine spends one to two months in stainless steel, preserving its fresh fruit character and aromatic purity, while a subtle touch of oak influence adds a hint of extra complexity. Crafted by winemaker Patricio Lucero, the U range offers expressive, fruit-forward wines that are approachable, reliable, and ideal for casual enjoyment.
