"The 2022er Riesling Brut Nature was made from fruit picked in the Trarbacher Schlossberg and was left on its lees for 24 months before being disgorged without added sulfur in April 2025 (the disgorgement date is not provided on the label). It offers a beautiful but still backward nose made of fern, hay, citrus, bergamot, tea, and smoke. The wine proves beautifully precise and engaging on the palate, where the active mousse adds a joyful side. The finish is dry, herbal, and spicy, and extremely rewarding."
