Producer's Notes:

Boysenberry, blueberry with hints of cinnamon and plum.

What we say:

A big, bold Zinfandel that captures ripe California fruit with spicy, savoury complexity. The nose offers enticing waves of blackberry, plum and dark cherry, layered with peppercorn, clove and a hint of vanilla from oak aging. On the palate it’s rich and plush, with generous dark fruit flavours balanced by lively acidity and smooth, integrated tannins. A touch of bramble and dried herb on the finish keeps it from feeling too heavy, making this Zinfandel both robust and very drinkable.
