Elegant, vibrant and unmistakably Northern Rhône, Yann Chave's Tradition Crozes-Hermitage is a beautifully expressive Syrah that balances generous fruit with remarkable freshness. Aromas of blackberry, cassis and dark cherry are layered with cracked black pepper, liquorice, violet and a hint of fresh mint. The palate is supple yet structured, with silky tannins supporting juicy black fruit, savoury spice and a lively mineral backbone. Refined rather than powerful, it finishes long and graceful, capturing the purity and finesse that define the finest wines of Crozes-Hermitage. 

Yann Chave has become one of the appellation's leading growers, farming organically around the villages of Mercurol, La Roche de Glun and Pont de l'Isère. This cuvée brings together fruit from these complementary terroirs, creating a classic expression of Crozes-Hermitage. The grapes are 100% destemmed and fermented naturally with indigenous yeasts, followed by a gentle three to four-week maceration using pump-overs rather than punch-downs to preserve elegance and fruit purity. The wine is then matured for 10 months in stainless steel tanks, with no oak influence, allowing the freshness, spice and distinctive character of Syrah to shine through.
