Beck‑Hartweg ‘Tout Naturellement’ Pet Nat

Producer's Notes:

VINIFICATION: The grapes are harvested at the same time and destemmed. Maceration for 12 hours then gentle pressing. Fermentation in tanks with native yeasts. Bottling during fermentation, which ends in the bottle to give effervescence. Wine without added sulphites, without any input and without filtration.

WHEN TO DRINK IT? Very tasty when young, it can be aged for 3 years.

TASTING NOTES: Beautiful pink color. Expressive nose of very ripe fruit. Very delicious, juicy, digestible in the mouth, freshness and lightness. Dry.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: Convivial wine to enjoy as an aperitif and with friends!

SERVE: Drink chilled but not iced, around 9°.

A deposit in the bottle is due to the absence of disgorging. It does not harm the quality of the wine. Serve immediately upon opening to avoid any spillage.

What we say:

An unabashedly natural sparkling wine that captures the joyful, unfiltered spirit of pétillant-naturel - light, juicy, and entirely free of additives. Made by the passionate team at Beck-Hartweg in Alsace, France, Tout Naturellement is bottled during fermentation so that the sparkle develops naturally in the bottle, with no disgorgement and no sulphites added at any stage.

Pale pink in colour with a slightly wild, expressive personality, this Pet Nat offers an aromatic bouquet of very ripe fruit and delightful freshness on the palate. It’s dry, juicy and sociable - the kind of bottle that turns a casual get-together into an occasion. Stones and delicate brightness keep it light on its feet, and the absence of filtration gives it a tactile, authentic presence that natural wine lovers adore.

On the palate it’s deliciously juicy and refreshing, with lively acidity and approachable dryness that makes it instantly drinkable.

Grape Varieties: Muscat, Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris (co-harvested and gently pressed)

Style: Pétillant-Naturel (natural sparkling; no added sulphites, no filtration)

Origin: Dambach-la-Ville, Alsace, France

Drink Window: Best enjoyed young and fresh (serve soon after purchase)

Perfect For: Aperitifs, casual celebrations, picnic pours, light snacks and charcuterie — any time you want something fun, textural and natural.

A playful, naturally sparkling Pet Nat with juicy fruit, fresh acidity and an unfussy charm - perfect for laid-back moments and everyday fizz.

Note about origin/labelling:

It can seem confusing at first, but an Alsace-grown wine labelled as Vin de France is usually a deliberate choice, not a downgrade in quality.

Alsace AOC rules are famously strict: they tightly control permitted grape varieties, labelling, blends, yields, and winemaking methods. When a producer wants to step outside those rules - for example by blending atypical varieties, co-fermenting grapes, bottling a pét-nat, leaving a wine unfiltered, or working without added sulphur - they may no longer qualify for the AOC, even if the grapes are 100% Alsace-grown.

By choosing Vin de France, the winemaker gains creative freedom while still farming and vinifying in Alsace. For many modern, natural-leaning producers, this designation signals experimentation, minimal intervention, and personality rather than conformity. In other words, Vin de France often tells you how the wine was made, not where the quality stops.

In short: Alsace on the map, Vin de France on the label - because the winemaker chose expression over regulation.
